New approach payment method Wire Transfer

Lately we received a growing amount of matching requests from our customers for unmatchable payments. An unmatched payment occurs when our system can not match the information of the payment with the information a paying customer of our merchant fills in when paying by wire transfer-payments. Moreover merchants of ICEPAY complained about the doubt they have whether some "OPEN" transactions are really unpaid by  consumer. Whereas Wire Transfer is a payment method that many of our customers like to activate, while it does not work according to new standards (as for example iDeal does), ICEPAY decided to look into the possibilities to provide its customers with a solution that fit their needs: receive payments online with a payment method that some consumer prefer, but has works kind of antique so has a high error-rate.

We decided to do something about ucertainy by increasing the level of informing to the payer. The Wire Transfer payment window is enriched with more information and the payer is provided with steps he has to do for the payment (step 3). Moreoever de payer gets mailed the payment information he has to fill in manually, immediately after selecting to use the Wire Transfer payment method.

Finally, if the payment remains unpaid for a couple of days, a secured reminder mail is sent again in order to make sure the consumer (step 4).

In this way we do the utmost to make sure the customer of our merchant gets the information en instructions as detailed as possible to make a Wire Transfer-payment transferred succesfully. If a payment is made, but is unmatchable in our automized procedure, we also provide a matching-service, in order to make the flow  of Wire Transfer-payments as smooth as possible.
